Islington's Spanish Civil War heroes Islington Museum

The exhibition shares the stories of Islington's valiant men and women who made the arduous journey to civil war-torn Spain between 1936 and 1939 to fight the fascists.
10am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday every week.

Shubbak at Lilian Baylis Studio
Displacement by Mithkal Alzghair

Sadler's Wells partners with Shubbak, London's largest biennial festival of contemporary Arab culture, to introduce the poignant work of Syrian dancer and choreographer Mithkal Alzghair.
Deconstructing Syrian traditional dances, he exposes the paradox of a deeply rooted culture and its current experience of displacement.
